Happy New Year!

Can you believe we’re already over halfway through with January? As always, the first month of the year seems to fly by and with it, so do our New Year’s goals and resolutions. Today I just wanted to come on here and tell you that if writing a book was on your to-do list for 2020, this is your sign to keep marching forward.

I had the idea for the Night Buddies series many years ago now. My son John and I came up with the characters (Crosley was our favorite!) simply by telling bedtime stories together. But the thing about an idea is that it’s not always going to become your first book—it only turns into a book when you commit to making it one.

These stories may never have existed outside of John’s childhood bedroom had I never taken the initiative to write Night Buddies and the Pineapple Cheesecake Scare. That would have been a shame, because the number of times I hear from readers how much they love these books means it was a story worth sharing.

I’m willing to bet that yours is a story worth sharing too. So all you have to do is commit to writing your book in 2020, from start to finish, and see where it takes you. Good luck!
